Our Futon Mattress has layers of Cotton, Wool and Rebound Felt that mimics the traditional futon mattresses of Japan in that it gives you good support very easy to contort into the shape you need.
Our Futon Mattress is ideal for direct use on the floor and can stow neatly beneath most bed frames to be pulled out only when needed. Because it is a cotton futon mattress, it is easy to bend make it an excellent solution for love seat futon frames where you might want to double over the seat portion of the futon while your frame is in the love seat position.
Unlike many futon mattresses made of cheaper fillings, the 'Futon UK' Futon Mattress is made of premium quality materials and will stand up to heavy use compared to similarly priced futons.
All futon mattresses include top and bottom layers of a high quality and luxurious poly cotton wool. The centre of the futon mattress is generally filled with a number of layers of rebound felt, which will give you real comfort and a good nights sleep!
Every Futon is hand made to the highest standards in our factory based in Cambridge. The covers are also made to a highest quality so they will not rip or tear from constant use.
Unlike cheap futons we do not bulk out the futon fillings with cheap fillings* which cause the futon to lose its shape and give you no support when sleeping.
